How to make a paper rabbit

The use of scissors, considered as something exceptional, it is completely indispensable in this case.
In spite of its construction simplicity, the beauty of this rabbit is really incredible.

Carry out two folds in a squared paper, so the lower angles (A,B) can coincide perfectly with the vertical diagonal (C).

Fold the superior tip on the folds.

Unfold the parts again and fold only the tip.
- Pay attention to the line of dots in the image -.
Although the artist can act as preferred, is better to make this folding equally distant between the center (B) and the superior border (A).
Fold the ends again (C and D) on this bent tip.

 

Then, bend down the two halves until their vertexes coincide (A and B).

With the figure bent in two parts, bend the vertexes up and down until obtaining a marked fold - Take a look at the image -.
The artist will look for the favorite position of the fold.

Now, taking the folds as a guide, we will bend the tip (A) up, exercising a slight pressure with the fingers.
The same operation will be carried out with the opposed side (B), with which we will obtain the rabbit's tail.
We will obtain a similar result to that one in the picture.

 

With the help of some scissors cut the vertex (A, in the previous figure) in longitudinal direction , along the central angle to divide it in two halves.

 

 

 

And, all of a sudden, the rabbit appears with his long ears !
